Terms and Conditions – WanderWonder
1. Purpose
This website is operated by WanderWonder and serves as a platform for booking private tours in Portugal. By accessing and using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use this website.
2. Use of the Website
- The content of this website is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
- You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its functionality.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the website at any time.
3. Booking and Payment
- All bookings must be made through our online reservation system Rezgo.
- Accepted payment methods:
- Cash on the day of the tour
- PayPal
- Credit/debit card (processed securely through Stripe)
- Credit card information is handled exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
4. Confirmation
After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with your tour details. This confirmation does not serve as a valid fiscal invoice. A legal invoice compliant with Portuguese tax law (including ATCUD and QR Code) will be issued and sent separately by email.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the tour are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled tour are non-refundable.
- No-shows are not eligible for any refund.
6. Changes or Cancellations by WanderWonder
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any tour due to:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Operational issues
- Insufficient number of participants
- Other unforeseen circumstances
In such cases, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule.
7. Liability
- Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit and suitably prepared to participate in the tour.
- WanderWonder is not liable for any personal belongings lost or damaged during the tour.
- We accept no liability for accidents or injuries that occur due to negligence or failure to follow instructions.
8. Insurance
All tours include mandatory liability and personal accident insurance in accordance with Portuguese law. Additional travel insurance is recommended and remains the sole responsibility of the participant.
9. Invoicing and Tax Compliance
- Fiscal invoices are issued by WanderWonder in accordance with Portuguese tax regulations, including ATCUD and QR Code.
- Invoices are sent by email after payment is confirmed.
- Any payment receipt or confirmation issued by PayPal, Stripe, or Rezgo is not a valid fiscal invoice.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except when required by law.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Porto, Portugal.
12. Company Information
WanderWonder is the commercial brand of Rotundas & Polegadas Unipessoal LDA, a company registered in Portugal with VAT number PT518232220, and is officially certified by Turismo de Portugal under RNAAT license number 76/2025, in accordance with Decreto-Lei n.º 186/2015.
